Agnes Kefer Philblad lived in Hopatcong where she died at the age of 79. In her will she left $100,000 to the Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library. The Sussex-Wantage library was able to construct an amphitheater behind the library in 2008 with the donation. People that knew her indicated that Philblad had a passion for education and wanted to have that passion continue even after she died.
